Bike Ride/Picnic

We all got on our bikes and rode down the bike path to the river for a picnic. I love living this close to so much beauty! Im literally at the mouth of the canyon. I take it all for granted. It was nice to appreciate it for a change, even tho my allergies got the best of me this day. Stupid nature! :) And Parker didnt mind having to ride his sisters PINK bike :) it takes a real man to ride pink...

I am glad to see that Steve was the one hauling the trailer on his bike! :D Those things are heavy! Sounds like fun! I have been having a little bit of a "craving" for a picnic. You have inspired me. So now, I must do it!

Zachy 5 "Cant we just buy money?"

In primary they were talking about how tobacco is very bad for you & you should never try it. Savannah leans over to me & says, "Oh no mom! Spencer loves tabasco! He eats it all the time!"

Zachy 7: Is Vanna still sleeping? Me:yes Zach: o cuz she needs her beauty sleep huh

Zachy 6 Zach had a cold & his ear was plugged. After talking to the kids about inversion and bad air and asthma as why they have inside recess these days, zach asks: Mom, do i have asthma in my ear? Me: no, you have congestion in ur ear. Zach: Oh, ok. Justin is in my ear

Spenc 11: After shoe shopping for school, Vanna ended up w/8 new pair. "How come she got 8 & I got 1?" me: Well there was a buy 1 get 1 sale, so for every shoe she got another one half off. spenc: "I dont get it. I dont speak girl"

Savannah 8: After seeing the flowers covered with snow she went out and picked them and brought them in to me and said, "Mom, these almost froze to death! I saved them from freezing!"

Mom: "Zachy, who do you want to marry?"
Zachy 5: "I dont know....I haven't kissed anybody yet"

Spencer 10: "Mom, can I have some strawberries?"
Me: "no"
Spenc: "What? Is this cuz Im black?"

Zachy 5: "Dad is the boss of everything! Mom is only the boss of the food"

Spencer offered to watch Zachy for me so I could rest. He said, "Dont worry mom, I'll take him off your elbows

At IHOP we tasted all the syrups and Zachy decided 'butter-pecan was his favorite. "Mmmm I love 'leprechaun syrup

Savannah 8: "Mom, we're not supposed to bleach this or iron it!" referring to her pillow after apparently reading the tag.

Mom: Do you want chicken noodle, chicken O's, chicken alphabet, or chicken and stars soup?"
Zachy 5: "I want chicken longy things

Zachy 5: singing the One Republic song 'Its too late to apologize' he sings, "Its too late to draw a guy"
