6th Grade vs Teachers Softball Game

Every year the 6th graders play the teachers in a softball game at the end of the school year. In Cascades 43 year history, the students have never won....enter the class of 2010...

Since about the 2nd or 3rd grade Parker and his friends have been talking about how theyre gonna beat the teachers when they play them. They figure since theyre all athletic, and have played on the same baseball teams since they were 8, of course they would kill the teachers. It was a great game. A close game. Much closer than the teachers anticipated. When the score was tied, the teachers got real serious. It came down to the last inning and the students went up one run, and won the game for the 1st time in history! It was awesome! The kids were so excited. What a way to end their Cascade school years!
